Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Domain Medic, an automated external security scanning service. By purchasing or using a scan, you agree to them.

What the service is

Domain Medic runs a set of automated, passive checks against a domain name you supply - covering email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), website configuration (HTTPS, TLS, security headers, cookies), domain security (DNSSEC, CAA, registration expiry), and public exposure (subdomains visible in certificate transparency logs). It produces a score and a written report.

This is not a penetration test. Domain Medic does not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, does not test authenticated areas of your systems, and cannot guarantee your business is secure. It reports only what these specific automated checks were able to determine from publicly accessible information at the time of the scan.

Acceptable use

You may only submit a domain you own or are otherwise authorised to assess. You agree not to:

• Submit domains you do not have authorisation to scan
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, payment, or access controls
• Use the service to build a competing product by automated bulk scanning
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Payment

Each scan is a one-time purchase, charged at the price shown at checkout, processed securely by Stripe. Domain Medic does not receive or store your card details.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Automated checks can be affected by factors outside our control - upstream service outages, network conditions, or a target system's own behaviour at the moment of scanning. We do not warrant that the report is complete, error-free, or fit for any particular regulatory or compliance purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Domain Medic's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the scan in question. Domain Medic is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including losses arising from a security incident the scan did not (and was never designed to) detect.

Changes

We may update these terms or the price of a scan from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
